Planning a Trip to Japan? Join Our Travel Talk

Planning a trip to Japan or just starting to consider it? This travel talk evening is designed to help you go beyond the typical tourist experience and truly understand Japan.

The event takes place on the 12th of April 17:00 (Voo stuudio).

Instead of focusing only on destinations, we’ll explore the deeper layers of Japanese culture: the customs, social norms, and communication styles that shape everyday life. What should you know before arriving? How can you better interpret what you see and experience while you’re there?

During the evening, we’ll discuss key cultural concepts, Japanese communication logic, and expected behaviour in different situations from public spaces to social interactions. Understanding these nuances can completely change how you experience Japan.

At the end of the session, there will be time for practical questions. Whether you’re struggling to plan your itinerary or looking for answers you haven’t been able to find online, we’re here to help.

The discussion will be led by Maarja Yano and Janne Funk. Co-hosted by Jaapani Kultuur Koda

Throughout the evening, we’ll also enjoy high-quality Japanese green tea crafted by top-level tea masters.

The event is held in Estonian
